Setup

1
Install GmAssist from the Chrome Web Store.
2
On the page that opens after installation, sign in with your Google account. Grant access to the Gmail API when prompted.
3
Open Gmail and view an email thread. AI analysis will appear in the right sidebar.
Tip: After signing in, a 3-day free Pro trial starts automatically. Try all features during this period.
2

AI Analysis

When you open an email thread in Gmail, AI analysis results automatically appear in the sidebar's "Analysis" tab.

Tip: You can toggle "Auto-analyze threads" on/off from the extension popup. When off, analysis only runs when you click the "Analyze" button.
3

AI Reply Generation

Use the sidebar's "Reply" tab to generate context-aware replies with AI.

1
Open the "Reply" tab in the sidebar. Nuance and politeness level are auto-recommended based on AI analysis.
2
Choose politeness level (5 levels) and nuance (acknowledge, question, confirm, thank, apologize, request), then click "Generate Reply".
3
Review the preview and click "Insert into Gmail" to paste it into the reply field.

Expand template settings to save recipient name, greeting, closing, and signature — they'll be automatically applied to generated replies.

Free plan: Up to 3 replies per day. Unlimited on Pro.
4

Dashboard

The dashboard is accessible from within Gmail or from the extension popup. It has 3 views:

How to access: Click "GmAssist" in Gmail's left sidebar, or use the "Dashboard" button in the extension popup.
5

History & AI Search

Use the sidebar's "History" tab to search and browse past email threads.

Pro feature: AI search and thread AI summaries are Pro/Trial only. Regular search is available on the Free plan.
6

Open Tracking

Know when your emails are read (Pro feature).

1
When composing or replying, click the GmAssist menu button near the send button.
2
Toggle tracking ON in the menu and send the email. Can be combined with send scheduling.
3
Check the dashboard's Tracking tab for sent count, open rate, daily charts, and per-email open timestamps.
7

Send Scheduling

Schedule emails to be sent at a specific date and time (Pro feature).

1
In the compose window, click the GmAssist menu button and select "Schedule Send".
2
Enter a date and time, or use quick presets (1h later, 3h later, tomorrow AM/PM, next Monday AM), then click "Schedule Send".
3
Manage scheduled emails in the dashboard's Scheduled tab. Cancel before the send time if needed.
Tip: You can enable both scheduling and tracking at the same time. Track opens on scheduled emails too.
